Located in the Villa des Arenes, a beautifull 17th century nuilding, the Matisse museum has been open since 1963. The permanent exhibition presents - among other things - paintings, sculptures, pictures and objects which belonged to the painter.
This exhibition is interesting because of its presentation of Matisse's artistic evolution and his inroads in the use of colour, from the first paintings of 1890 to the cutouts of the end of his life.

This very funny comedy presents the ups and downs of divorce as seen by three women from very different social backgrounds.
